i didn't know who to join because really i didn't like either side but in the end i went imperials but only because i couldn't kick out my fave jarl (balgruuf)

I joined the Stormcloaks, but I'm beginning to wonder if I joined the right side. Ulfric and his Stormcloaks want to drive the Empire out of Skyrim, but what he forgets is that it's the Empire keeping the Dominion out of Skyrim. He kicks them out the Dominion have an easy, unhindered access into Skyrim and once word reaches Summerset Isle, they'll waste no time sending an army to Skyrim, and could arrive sooner then expected, in which all Stormcloaks and anyone affiliated with them, along with Talos worshipers are going to be screwed or have to end up going into hiding. They don't realize it but the Stormcloaks are only weakening the Empire and putting skyrim in danger. Another thing I thought about is how they get all mad because they can't worship Talos, but I learned from Madanach the Foresworn King that when the Nords took the Reach from them they forbid the Foresworn from worshiping their gods.

At first I sided with the Stormcloaks, but now I refuse to pick a side, because of similar reasons. My problem is that I really dislike the Imperials and their arrogant manner.
I try just to play the Dragonborn main quest.. It makes it a lot easier in the game not to chose a side.. Only few people will hate you in the end

I just pick a side just for the fun of fighting, I don't really care if Ulfric is a traitor or a hero, or that the Empire is Skyrim's best hope against the Dominion, as long as I get to kill something, be it Imperial, Stormcloak, or Thalmor, I'm happy.

dunno, it upsets me though when certain characters start to hate me after finishing the civil war quest :/ And Whiterun and Solitude are completely destroyed afterwards

If you join the Stormcloaks, your hated by anyone in Whiterun, Markarth, Falkreath, and Morthal who supported the Empire, whereas anyone in Dawnstar, Wintehold, Riften and some of the folks in Windhelm like the 2 blacksmiths hate you. For me I don't really care who hates me, my main guy is a Stormcloak, but I don't care about Ulfrics beliefs or the whole deal with Talos worship, I joined the Stormcloaks because the damn Empire tried to kill me for no reason and so wanted to kill them, even after finishing the Civil War I sometimes kill wandering Stormcloaks just for the hell of it.

Yeah, that's why I for myself could never join the imperials.. in the beginning they're like, I have no idea who the hell you are and what you did but off with your head! And then they come back and beg for you to join their army -.-
